Cyclone Yaas weakens into deep depression over Jharkhand-Odisha

 

he cyclonic storm Yaas weakened into a deep depression and lay centred over south Jharkhand and adjoining north interior Odisha, about 60 km west-southwest of Jamshedpur and 110 km south south-east of Ranchi at 11.30 pm, according to the latest IMD bulletin. The Met department further said that the deep depression is very likely to move further northwestwards and weaken gradually into a depression in the next 12 hours.
